Grandparents and special friends of our PK3-8th Grade students are invited. Due to space limitations, parents are asked not to attend.

Check-in and light refreshments begin at 7:45AM. The program starts at 8AM in the Sanctuary. Our address is 1515 Hillendahl Blvd, Houston, Texas 77055.

Parking is available in the Church Lot and designated overflow lots, with handicapped parking and assistance provided. Staff members will be on-site to direct you.

After the event, grandparents or special friends can check out their grandchild with the homeroom teacher if they want to leave campus for the day. (Start Thanksgiving break early!) Students can also stay in their classroom with their teacher until regular dismissal, with extended care available as usual.

Students are required to wear chapel dress.

We understand not everyone can join us. If a grandparent or special friend cannot attend, your child may be “adopted” for the morning by another student’s grandparent or special friend. Parents must coordinate this with the homeroom teacher.

We highly recommend sending a card to your grandchild. Mail the card to the school “in care of” your grandchild. Include student’s first and last name. Cards will be delivered on Grandparents Day.

• Attend the program at 8AM in the Sanctuary with all grandparents.

• After the program, visit each grandchild’s classroom in any order. Bring them with you from classroom to classroom.

• Once done, take your grandchildren to each activity: Gym (Bingo), Cafeteria (Service Project), or Photo Booth (Gathering Area).

• At 10:30AM, either take them home (with parent permission) or return them to their classrooms.
